Crunchy Toasts

I discovered this terrific accompaniment to soup while I was living down in Australia. It comes from Kate Lamont a popular West Australian restaurateur who started out in the food business at her parent's winery.

Ingredients:

1 bread stick

Cracked salt and pepper

Olive oil

Method:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Slice bread thinly and place slices in a single layer on a baking tray, season with sea salt and freshly ground pepper and drizzle with olive oil. Bake until golden, about 10 minutes. Cool and store in airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
